How long will it take for my painting to be delivered?
Clients should allow 9 weeks from the point of ordering to the point of delivery for any paintings up to 36"x48". Larger paintings can take longer. We will confirm your delivery date on receipt of your order.

How much will the painting cost?
Paintings are priced according to size required, the complexity of the work and the required fee of the chosen artist. As a guide our paintings are priced between £500 for a painting 20"x24" up to £1500 for 36"x48". Special offers start at as little as £100

Can I have any picture copied?
Almost any painting can be copied. However if an artist is still alive or has passed away less than 70 years ago, a painting can only be copied with permission of the artist or the artist's estate.

Do you have an archive of images that I can use?
I have an extensive library of images that are available. I would recommend that you come and see us either in Staffordshire or in Central London to discuss your project and look through a prepared shortlist of images that are likely to suit your requirements. If you have a good idea of the period, style subject and artist then I can also e-mail a selection of paintings.

Do you have a stock of completed paintings?
We carry an extensive stock of paintings representing lesser known paintings from almost all the periods, sizes and styles of European painting over the last 400 years. You can view our stock on this web site or by visiting our studio in Staffordshire or London. See below for details.

Where can I see the paintings?

Which paintings are suitable for my property?
We are always happy to advise on the correct period of paintings for a property. The type and style of paintings will depend on the look and feel that you have in mind. Please feel free to call us for advice we would be happy to hear from you.

Who are the artists?
Our artists are all professional full time artists. They have all studied at well known international art colleges and institutes and have an expert knowledge of drawing and the traditional painting skills required for historic paintings. Many are well known and respected in their own areas for their extraordinary ability and skills. Each artist signs their paintings in the bottom right hand corner with their unique signature. What frame should I choose?
We are happy to give advice and we can help you choose the right style of frame for the period of your painting. We sell several different styles of frame to suit all requirements. Visit our frame section to see our collection. [Frames]

What If I am not happy with the painting?
In the event that you are not satisfied with your painting just send it back to us within 14 days and we will issue you with a full refund. Please ask us before placing your order if you require this same guarantee for unique tailor made paintings and portraits. We will do our best to oblige. [Guarantee]

What sort of Photo do you need?
Generally the larger the image the better. Remember the artist can only work from what we can give him. A good clear printed image which is a good colour match and clearly shows the detail of the painting. Richard Bostock will either call or write to you before going ahead with the painting if he is concerned about the image supplied. How are the paintings done?
Our paintings are painted by our highly skilled artists using sable and hogs hair brushes to mix and layer artist's quality oil paint onto a blank canvas. You can find out more about our artists and how our paintings are painted at the following link. [The Artists]

How and when do I pay?
For paintings that are delivered within the UK we charge 50% in advance payable on your order date and 50% when you have received the finished painting. We accept most major Credit cards. For Overseas orders and unique tailor-made commissioned we also charge a 50% deposit however we require the remaining 50% prior to despatch. We accept most major credit cards and cheques.

Where do you deliver to?
We ship world wide. Your painting will be insured and well packaged before being sent by UPS who take good care of our paintings and their system enables our clients to track their delivery. Uk delivery costs £40 + Vat . If you require overseas delivery of a framed painting please call us for a quote for delivery.

Who are your customers?
We supply leading London interior designers with oil paintings and watercolours we also copy paintings directly for one of the main London auction houses. We also have a wide range of private clients who are collectors, designers, businessmen and men and women from public life. Do I pay Vat?
Vat is included in the prices given. For overseas customers who live outside the EU you will not have to pay Vat however we must have proof that the delivery has left the EU.

What size can I have?
We can paint to any size. 3.5m x 2.5m is the biggest painting that we have painted to date. The only restriction on size is the size of canvas that we are able to buy.
